How are patients tested for sexually transmitted infections at the Clinic?

At our Clinic, patients can be tested for sexually transmitted infections through blood work, urine tests, during a physical exam, and by looking at discharge under a microscope (to detect trichomoniasis and bacterial vaginosis).

Other sexually transmitted infections can only be tested from an open sore, or from the vagina, penis or rectum.
