Women's Healthcare Clinic
Community Outreach

The WHCC Outreach program offers interactive, comprehensive health education workshops, at no cost to groups in the community, such as: drug recovery faciltiies, homeless shelters, women's shelters, parent groups, high schools, adult schools, social service agencies, faith-based organizations and other community organizations. Donations are accepted.

Health education topics include: Reproductive Anatomy, Family Planning & Contraception, STDs, HIV/AIDS, Healthy Relationships, Women's/Men's Health, Breast Cancer Awareness, and Healthy Sexuality. Educational materials and condoms (when permitted) are distributed at workshops, and participants have an opportunity to sign up for an appointment at the Clinic, if they want one.

Every year, outreach staff conducts over 200 health education workshops, reaching over 4,000 individuals. Workshops are offered in English and Spanish, and provide up to date and accurate health information. Outreach staff is also available to participate in health fairs.
